One for the Books Events was founded by Evan Chestnutt, an experienced wedding planner with a deep appreciation for thoughtful design, meaningful moments, and calm, organized planning.

With over a decade in the wedding industry, Evan has guided hundreds of couples through the planning process — always leading with care, clarity, and respect for each couple’s vision, priorities, and budget.

What began as a passion for beautifully executed events — and for bringing people together in ways that feel genuine and joyful — has grown into a trusted planning company built on strong values, collaborative teamwork, and genuine connection. Today, Evan leads One for the Books Events alongside a carefully trained team, ensuring every couple receives the same thoughtful support and attention from start to finish.

At the heart of it all is a belief that wedding planning should feel supportive, intentional, and truly enjoyable — creating celebrations that feel as good as they look.
